As the creator of the beloved Peyton's Journeys book series, she has touched the hearts of many young readers. Her award-winning books, Peyton's First Day at a New School and Dream Big: Peyton's Hip-Hop Adventure, earned the Golden Wizard Award, showcasing her talent as a children's author.
Driven by a mission to close the representation gap in children's literature, Paula is dedicated to ensuring that every child can see themselves reflected in the stories they read. Her work celebrates and cherishes diverse voices and experiences, creating stories that inspire and resonate with young readers.
Beyond her literary achievements, Paula takes great pride in raising two successful sons and supporting her spouse.
